Restaurants & Shopping
Dallas offers more than just the renowned Galleria. Dallas is known for its flashy lifestyle, big hair, and flashy clothing, and there are many ways to fulfill this lifestyle. Popular shopping sites include the West Village, the original Neiman Marcus located downtown, Northpark Center, and Highland Park Village.
Be sure to dine at the Mansion at Turtle Creek, Bob’s Steak and Chop House, Mi Cocina, or several delicious barbecue stops.

After all, the Metroplex offers the defending NBA champion Dallas Mavericks, the two time defending American League Champion Texas Rangers, America’s Team the Dallas Cowboys, and a thriving college sports scene.
If you’re more interested in participating than observing, the city provides numerous options. Dallas boasts top rated baseball camps, softball leagues, and more.
Popular attractions include Cowboys Stadium, the Texas Motor Speedway, the American Airlines Center (AAC), and Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.
Arts
An influx of museums have arrived in the Downtown / Uptown area, and many more are under construction. Museums include the Nasher Sculpture Center, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Crow Collection of Asian Art, the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
If you enjoy theater, Dallas has something for you too. There are several theaters in the Uptown area, community theaters, and independent movie theaters.
